NIGHT NURSE IS OUR TRIAGE SERVICE FOR YOUR AFTER-HOURS PATIENT CARE NEEDS!
Westchester Park Pediatrics now enlists Night Nurse for the professional triage of after-hour calls, free of charge.
Night Nurse has been providing triage coverage for pediatric medicine since 1999. We know our patients will receive the highest standard of timely triage from these experienced pediatric RNs/NPs. When our office is closed and you have questions about your child’s health that cannot wait until the office opens, the operator will pass along your message, and you will be promptly called back by the Night Nurse service. If your call requires a referral to the emergency room, the advice line nurse will contact the doctor on call. The next morning, the office will have a report on your call and will follow up, as needed. We appreciate your understanding and are certain this will only improve the 365 day-a-year services provided in our office. Thank you for choosing our practice.

At Westchester Park Pediatrics, we most major insurance plans. Please contact your insurance company or you may call our office at (914) 761-1717 to find out if we accept your plan. You may also refer to our Practice Policies’ list of insurance carriers.
If your insurance plan requires you to pay a co-payment, co-insurance, and/or a deductible, you will need to pay at the time of your visit. For your convenience we accept cash, checks, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express.

If one of our doctors suggests a specialist evaluation or diagnostic testing that requires a referral, we will make every effort to provide this for you as soon as possible.
Some referrals require insurance preauthorization and cannot be processed immediately. Insurance guidelines prohibit us from backdating referrals. We require three business days for the processing of routine referrals.
Doctors at Westchester Park Pediatrics have hospital affiliations with White Plains Hospital.
Prescriptions and refills for established patients of Westchester Park Pediatrics are routinely issued during our regular office hours (see above). You can make your request by calling our office at (914) 761-1717.
Refills are generally not issued during the evenings, weekends, or holidays, as the doctors may not have access to all your medical records during those times. It is helpful to anticipate your refill needs to avoid an interruption in your medication therapy.
